Serif’s software has won over 200 international awards since it started hitting the shelves in the late eighties, and the number is still growing. Our first ever product, PagePlus, has single-handedly won over 50 awards, including more than ten magazine Editor’s Choice accolades. Not only do Serif products triumph in the awards stakes, but the company has also won awards for excellent customer service. In 2007 Serif’s Outbound Sales department was endorsed by Investors in People.
I have been at Serif since 1999 and I must admit I’ve had my fair share of job roles over the years. I’ve tried everything from inbound and outbound sales, to training, data analysis and business management. My current role as Sales Director brings with it a lot of responsibility, but I think my history with Serif has contributed heavily to my ability to do the job. When I started working in the call centre, my confidence grew substantially – just from talking to people every day on the phones and becoming knowledgeable about the products I was selling. Every job I have had at Serif has helped me to get to where I am today.
I enjoy coming to work for the people, the products and the fantastic opportunities that Serif has to continue expanding. We have an excellent team here, and I am living proof that anyone can succeed if they are passionate about what they do – ten years ago I worked in the call centre, and today I’m a director.
