The dedicated Service & Support team comprises of both customer service and technical advisors who endeavour to solve all our customer queries. They are crucial not only to ensure our customers enjoy their whole experience with Serif but also in supporting our Sales Executives with technical queries. They are fantastic problem solvers and able to remain calm and collected even with the most challenging enquiry.
Service & Support works closely with development to ensure our products remain cutting edge. They are located near the call centre, so this enables them to always be on hand to offer help and advice as well as joining them for nights out.
I started at Serif in 2001 as temporary packer in the warehouse. Serif gave me the opportunity to work in their Technical Support department and I haven’t looked back since. During my time in the Support department, I’ve been able to gain valuable experience whilst undertaking different job roles such as Level 1 & Level 2 Support Advisor, Support Training Coordinator and Technical Support supervisor.
Working in Technical Support can be very stressful at times, luckily for me, I work with like minded individuals who love their job and are eager to solve customers’ issues. There’s always a great atmosphere and the occasional bit of geekiness, just for good measure.
Everyday throws up new challenges with new problems to solve – I say, bring it on!
