Using the Serif Store

Placing an order online through the Serif Store is easy, even if it is the first time ordering with us. However if you’d like to call us to discuss a product or have any questions or queries, you can contact our Sales Enquires line free:

If you start by hovering over ‘Solutions’ on the navigation bar at the top, you will be presented with the different types of software we have for the home user, business user, or for education.

If you select the type of software you are interested in, the page will show you all the programs, guides, templates, collections and bundles we have associated with that solution. You can choose to add any of these items straight to your shopping basket, or select them for an overview of the product.


If you start by hovering over ‘Products’ on the navigation bar at the top, you will see the different products currently within the Serif Store including professional and business products, and home and hobby products including the extras we have such as guides, collections and packs.

If you select any of these products it will take you to the product overview where you can watch a video on the product, or read through its main features.

Your shopping basket

In the top right hand corner of the product overview page you will see the options and prices of the item, including an option to download the product if available. Simply select the option you want, and this will be added to your shopping basket.

You can keep following this process and browsing other products until you have all the items you wish to purchase in the basket. You will now be able to see all selected items, the quantity to be ordered, and the prices of those products.

At any time you can change the quantity be simply altering the value and clicking ‘update’. Alternatively, if you have selected something by accident, or have changed your mind, you can also remove an item altogether.

You can also see the total of your entire order, including the price of the selected shipping option. To view any alternative shipping options you can click ‘Click for more shipping options’ and these will be presented for you with information on the type of shipping method, cost, estimated dispatch date and whether you need to sign for the delivery.

If you have received a promotional code, this can also be entered in the space provided. Simply enter the code in the box and click the Add button.

When you are happy with your order, click the Checkout now button.

Secure checkout

Completing your order is quick, easy and most importantly, secure. There are just 3 steps to complete before you’re order is finished.

Once you’ve decided on your order, you’ll need to proceed through our secure checkout. If you already have an account with us, enter your email address and password. If you do not know your login password, you can simply click ‘Email me my password’ and it will be sent to you. Next, you’ll be able to confirm your delivery address.

If you don’t have a Serif account, don’t worry, you don’t need to create one. Simply enter your email address so we can email your order confirmation to you, then the next step is to tell us where you want your order delivered to.


The final step in the process is the payment screen. Here you will be presented with the details of your order, including the shipping and billing address. All of these can still be amended at this point should you wish.

You will be asked for your payment details including the name on the card, the type of payment, card number, issue number if applicable, expiry date, and your CV2 Security Code.

All credit cards have a security code (CV2 or CVC number) on them. This can be found on the reverse of most credit cards on the signature line. We use the last 3 digits on the right hand side of the string of numbers. If your credit card does not have such a security number on its signature strip please check on the right hand side of the front of your credit card, above the credit card number. There you will find printed a 3 or 4 digit number.

We accept Visa (including Visa Debit cards), MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express.

When you have entered these details, click the Place Order button and you will be presented with your receipt should you wish to print it. You will also receive an order confirmation to the supplied email address.
