SERIF PAGEPLUS IS FIRST EUROPEAN DTP "DESIGNED FOR WINDOWS XP"
Microsoft certify that PagePlus 8 has met stringent Windows XP criteria

Serif (Europe) Ltd - the leading independent desktop publishing, design and graphics software developer - today announced that the latest version of its best-selling Desktop Publisher has become the first such software from a publisher based outside North America to be allowed to carry Microsoft's official "Designed for Windows XP" logo.

Microsoft state: "The Designed for Windows XP Logo Program was created to allow customers to easily identify products that will yield a quality Windows XP experience. Products that carry the Designed for Windows XP logo will improve your experience, reduce your frustration, and encourage good Windows XP product development fundamentals among software and hardware manufacturers."

Darren Darvill, Serif's Head of Development, said: "Serif continually aims to develop products that let computer users benefit from the latest technological innovations. Microsoft's recognition that PagePlus has made extensive use of the features in their latest operating system illustrates the fact that we are achieving this aim. And, more importantly, the feedback from our users confirms that we are providing what they want."

PagePlus 8 continues to be fully compatible with earlier versions of Windows (95, 98, 2000, NT4 and Me) while meeting additional quality standards and taking advantage of new features in Windows XP.
