SERIF EXPANDS NOTTINGHAM OFFICES TO ACCOMMODATE INCREASE IN ITS UK SOFTWARE SALES
Total number of jobs created since Serif's April MBO to rise to 110

Serif (Europe) Ltd - today announced that it will begin the expansion of its Nottingham offices to create space for the recruitment of up to 50 new sales staff, adding to the 60 positions that have already been created since a successful management buyout earlier this year.

Serif will upgrade its warehousing and fulfilment operation and create a fully computerised and air-conditioned extension to its existing customer call centre. The company plans to launch a recruitment drive in September to fill the new vacancies.

After its management buyout in March 2001, Serif has been growing profitably and currently employs over 200 people at its Nottingham Head Office. This expansion will create up to 50 new jobs in Serif's call centre in Wilford, bringing the total number of new jobs created since Serif's return to British ownership to 110.

"This expansion and the new staff we recruit will allow us to maintain and improve our levels of customer service as sales of our software increase", said Gary Bates, Serif's Marketing and Communications Director.
