SERIF LAUNCHES ‘MOVIEPLUS’
New MoviePlus makes professional digital video-editing accessible to everyone.

Serif (Europe) Ltd - the UK’s leading independent desktop publishing, design and graphics software developer – today announced the launch of MoviePlus, a brand new package that is set to bring new levels of ease-of-use and stunning effects to home video-editing.

MoviePlus (Price £79.99) is Serif’s latest software sensation and an exciting entrant into the expanding world of digital video-editing. Advanced-level editing-tools combined with complete flexibility make MoviePlus an incredibly easy-to-use and powerful package. At an exceptional price MoviePlus is set to become everyone’s favourite way to create their own spectacular home movie epics.

The powerful Multi-Track Timeline is the heart of MoviePlus’s power, incorporating 3 video and 3 sound tracks. Choose from a vast array of fabulous transitions and stunning special effects – such as blue-screening and picture-in-picture – that can be selected from previewable galleries, and positioned on the Timeline using simple drag-and-drop. MoviePlus captures video files from camcorders and VCRs plus its Explorer-style interface also allows the browsing of video and sound files anywhere on the PC, making it incredibly easy to compile exactly the footage required.

MoviePlus integrates the various movie clips, sound files, effects and transitions on the Timeline and outputs them as movie files to hard disk, DV Camera or Video CD. Serif has also created an educational interactive CD-ROM, Learn to Make Movies (price £29.95), designed to enable everyone to get the most out of video-editing in MoviePlus.
