A much-requested feature, new BookPlus introduces capabilities for long document handling that no other package in this price range offers. Separate PagePlus publications are treated as individual chapters that can be assigned common attributes (such as text styles and colour palettes) from specified master publications. Plus, the advanced Page Numbering System applies differing or continuous numbering across publications, without needing to open them separately. A Table of Contents or Index can be generated automatically across multiple publications and inserted before or after any selected chapter, removing the laborious task of manual cross-referencing. BookPlus also outputs collections of publications to both print and PDF for highly flexible and efficient multipage desktop publishing.

New powerful Mail and Photo Merge employs the latest ADO and ODBC database technologies, enabling users to merge photos, images or text from a wide range of data sources, including Microsoft’s SQL Server, Excel and Access, plus contact details from Microsoft Outlook, into PagePlus 10 publications. Numerous options that allow the advanced sorting and filtering of external data, the easy creation of databases within PagePlus 10 itself and support for databases containing links to external images, make it easy to locate and merge the exact content required. PagePlus 10 can merge data into new documents for further customisation and output to both PDF and the Web, making this an extremely flexible and powerful feature for creating documents such as photo albums and catalogues, both online and in print.

New Layer support, Colour Picker tool, Footnotes, Endnotes and Auto Placeholder Text, plus a range of improvements such as greatly enhanced Find and Replace are just some of the features version 10 introduces to vastly aid productivity.
