PanoramaPlus 3 (List Price £39.99; upgrade prices available*) is Serif’s powerful image-stitching program that uses advanced pixel-matching technology to create stunning horizontal and vertical panoramas at the click of a button. Several sets of photos for different panoramas can be opened simultaneously and PanoramaPlus 3 creates multiple panoramas in just one operation. Users can even drop in video clips and PanoramaPlus 3 automatically converts them into still frames, which it joins to create the final composite image. With seamless results, PanoramaPlus 3 is the perfect tool to quite literally broaden everyone’s horizons. PanoramaPlus 3’s new QuickTime® VR Export allows users to view their panoramas as virtual reality video clips and is ideal for creating 360° panoramas. QuickTime VR format allows users to pan around as if they were actually there and even zoom in to take a closer look. Providing an interesting way to view panoramas on-screen, this feature is perfect for recording the interior of an impressive building, capturing wonderful scenery in its entirety or even photographing a large group of people at a family function. The new Straighten tool enables users to draw a line along a horizontal or vertical plane on the image and PanoramaPlus 3 automatically rotates and straightens the panorama. It’s simple to crop panoramas too – options include cropping to the largest complete image, a range of preset sizes or to a custom size of choice. Panoramas can also be cropped to their outermost edges and easily placed on any new background with PanoramaPlus 3’s new transparency support. At the click of a mouse, panoramas can be automatically opened in PhotoPlus†, giving users a wealth of image editing possibilities. A wide range of effects from PhotoPlus 11’s powerful Filter Gallery can then be applied, or panoramas can be turned into stunning works of art with the Instant Artist, for spectacular results every time! PanoramaPlus 3’s export options are more accessible via a new Share button on the toolbar, which makes it easy to select whether to save, share or print panoramas. As well as exporting to QuickTime® VR format, users can optimise and save their final panoramas in a range of common image file formats or even as a PDF. PanoramaPlus 3 also allows users to tile large panoramas across multiple pages on their desktop printer to achieve large format printing. The new email option automatically optimises panoramas so that they’re small enough to send and attaches the image file to a new email – all the user has to do is put in the email address, type a message and click send to quickly share their panoramas with friends, family and colleagues anywhere in the world. In just three unbelievably quick and easy steps users can import photos or video clips, stitch them together and export their panoramas for editing, printing or sharing, achieving astonishingly good results every time.
