PRESS RELEASE
SERIF LAUNCHES PANORAMAPLUS 2
New program creates panoramas effortlessly

Serif (Europe) Ltd – the UK’s leading independent desktop publishing, design and graphics software developer – is pleased to announce the launch of PanoramaPlus 2, their brand new package that creates stunning panoramic images with complete ease.

PanoramaPlus 2 (List price £39.99; upgrade prices available*) is Serif’s fully-automatic 2D image stitcher, enabling users to quite literally broaden their horizons at the click of a mouse. Removing the time consuming and tricky task of joining images together manually, PanoramaPlus 2 automatically performs this process with impressive simplicity, writing advanced algorithms to create fabulous results.

PanoramaPlus 2’s simple interface provides an Explorer window, allowing users to easily locate and select the images for their panoramas. The program automatically selects the correct photos for one or more panoramas and stitches them together with the click of one button. As well as creating standard horizontal panoramas, this powerful program can also stitch images together vertically to create 2D panoramics.

Users can even catch their desired panoramic scene on video and import the file into PanoramaPlus 2. The program automatically separates out stills from the video clip, which it stitches together seamlessly to form the finished digital panoramic image.

PanoramaPlus 2 provides straight forward tools and features, enabling the rotation and removal of imported images, easy zoom and navigation of the stitched image and preference options for adjusting tolerances if required. Once the panorama has been created, users have the ability to crop the image and finally export it to a choice of image formats at any resolution.

“PanoramaPlus 2 has been specially requested by our customers and we are confident that they will be delighted with this program,” said Gary Bates, Serif’s Managing Director. “By making the creation of panoramas this simple we are giving our customers the ability to capture ever more spectacular scenes on their digital cameras, without the field of view curvature that occurs when stitching multiple digital images together.”
