Serif (Europe) Ltd, the UK’s leading computer software developer, has signed a six week promotional deal with DSG International’s computing brand, PC World. The retailer is running two special endcap promotions with Serif software products across 153 UK stores. The first of the promotions began on 31st May 2009.

Serif and PC World have collaborated successfully in the past and it is hoped that the high exposure from the endcap promotion will be lucrative for both brands.

“We are very excited about the high exposure this six week promotion will give our software in PC World stores,” said Ellie Dyke, Head of Business Development at Serif. “We hope it will not only boost sales but increase brand awareness and let more people know who we are and what we do.”

The first half of the promotion comprises a special 3-in-1 DVD collection entitled the Complete Creative Collection. This includes Serif’s Internet Design Suite 2009, Desktop Publishing Suite 2009 and Digital Photo Suite 2009. The Complete Creative Collection will be sold exclusively at PC World at the discounted price of £29.99, which gives customers a saving of £60 on the list price.

The second half of the promotion is a special offer on Serif’s web design software WebPlus X2 and Serif’s photo editing software PagePlus X3. Both software titles have been big sellers for Serif and will be available for a limited time at the discounted prices of £39.99 and £59.99 respectively, giving PC World customers £20 off the standard list prices.
