New Storyboard Mode & Improved Timeline

Making movies in record time is a breeze with MoviePlus X3’s Storyboard mode. Simple drag and drop of images and video clips effortlessly produces an engaging movie – that can quickly be resequenced and enhanced with pan and zoom, narration, music, stunning transitions, effects, and titles. Real-time previews and context-sensitive task buttons make sure it’s as easy as possible to enhance movies without requiring specialist video editing experience.

For those who prefer to use advanced non-linear video editing, MoviePlus X3 offers a powerful and flexible multi-track Timeline – now also improved with context-sensitive task buttons for a smoother workflow. Plus, users can seamlessly switch between Storyboard and Timeline modes at any time to get the best from each for the fastest results.

Interactive ‘How To’ Guides

Ideal for new users, MoviePlus X3’s invaluable, interactive and automated ‘How To’ guides offer instant on-screen advice on wide range of popular editing operations, as well as more in-depth information on movie-editing techniques. The smart ‘How To’ pane is also able to automatically carry out editing steps for users at the click of a button, quickly making experts from novices with no effort at all. These handy guides cover everything from importing and capturing clips and applying effects to exporting full movies, and are always at hand so workflow is uninterrupted.

Fantastic Animated Titles

Creating fantastic text & titles is easy with MoviePlus X3. Text can simply be edited directly over the movie preview, and easy new animation presets make text fade, zoom, explode and fly with style. There’s also a new text styles gallery for instantly achieving just the right appearance for text, from colourful and funky introductions to smart, professional-looking credits.

Powerful New Audio and Video Effects

MoviePlus X3 introduces a whole new range of impressive audio effects to get the best possible soundtrack every time. Movies can be transformed into works of art with the ‘Old Movie’ effect – perfect for giving a vintage look and feel, plus improved Chroma Key support offers enhanced blue-screening. Multiple special effects can be combined together for truly unique results, and there’s a new range of outstanding, royalty-free animated overlays to add a professional touch to projects.

Great Compatibility and Easy Sharing

Movies, audio and images can be imported from almost anywhere with MoviePlus X3’s comprehensive device and file format support – including grabbing from AVCHD™ and other video cameras, importing MPG, AVI, WMV, QuickTime ®, MPEG-4, and HD video files – and others. Plus MoviePlus X3 also adds a new “Download from Device” wizard to help users find files quickly and easily on PCs, cameras, or memory sticks.

Spending time experimenting with output settings is a thing of the past with MoviePlus X3’s new Export Wizard feature, offering easy presets for popular gadgets and settings templates for popular file formats.
