Easily transform digital photos and images into impressive, editable vector drawings in an instant with this innovative, dedicated studio – also ideal for those who want to begin creative drawing but don’t know how to get started. The AutoTrace Studio in DrawPlus X3 can be used to create high quality artwork using any image, from tiny logos to high-quality digital photos, so turning bitmap images into something spectacular has never been easier. Fantastic adjustment tools allow users to smooth, merge and recolour traced shapes for perfect results, while the built-in How To guides make sure there’s always great advice at hand. Best of all, AutoTraced drawings, photos and logos can be exported or printed at any size with absolutely no loss of quality.

Powerful Image Cutout Studio
The Image Cutout Studio is perfect for removing unwanted backgrounds from pictures quickly and neatly, giving photo subjects total focus. Simple brush strokes work like magic erasers to painlessly paint away unwanted areas in this advanced, yet easy-to-use, imaging tool. The cut-out area can also be used as line, shape, and silhouette art in drawings and designs, and photos can be given a new lease of life when placed over different backgrounds.

Creative User Interface
DrawPlus has had a real overhaul with a totally fresh look, a more creative feel, and a more productive layout to enhance creativity. Not only does the new interface appear attractive with more colour and new, larger buttons on the standard toolbars, there are also new controls including Artistic Overlays that guide users towards better aesthetics, and Solo Mode which gives focus to selected design elements, allowing them to be worked on in isolation without the distraction of the rest of the project. New High Quality Photo Brushes and Natural Media Brushes
Now there are even more ways to create awesome paintings and enhance artwork with a fantastic range of new brushes. Rich designer textured backdrops are just a couple of clicks away, using special ‘canned paint’ effects such as realistic fur, flames, high quality clouds, and fog. Additional photo effects brushes can be used to add realistic glitter, confetti, flower petals and more – and new crafty brushes instantly add lifelike stitches and laces, making it appear as if designs are sewn right into the page! An exciting new development for the DrawPlus community is DrawPlus.com, the place to go online to show off creations to friends and family, share creativity with a wider online audience, swap tips and tricks with other artists, chat with like-minded people, and vote for favourite artwork. Offline sharing is easier too with the ability to open and edit Adobe® Illustrator files and EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) graphics as if they were regular DrawPlus drawings, so everyone is able to share with creative colleagues. DrawPlus X3 also supports Microsoft® HD Photo files, boasting more than twice the quality of JPEG for the same small file size. The Export Optimizer has been enhanced for perfect images every time, and the unrivalled PDF import, editing, and export is a real asset, so artwork can be imported from almost anywhere and be sent to almost anyone, including professional printers. PDF export uses straightforward export presets so PDFs can be created at small file sizes for sharing online as well as to industry-standard PDF-X/1a settings for print presses.
