QuickFix Studio

The brilliant QuickFix Studio brings all the essential image correction tools into one place. Now you can easily make several adjustments to your photos at a time. Fix red-eye, change lighting effects and colour saturation, sharpen, crop and straighten images, all within one easy-to-use window.

The dual preview window allows you to monitor corrections as you make them, and even compare changes to the original image. Handy undo/redo arrows also speed up the editing process, allowing you to change your mind about changes you’ve made as often as you like! Enhancing your images in an instant has never been easier than with the new QuickFix Photo Studio.

Direct Text Editing

You can now add and edit text directly on your designs. Simply grab the text tool, click and drag the cursor out to the desired point size and type away. All of the standard text editing options, such as font, point size and bold can be quickly accessed on the Context Toolbar.

If you’re looking to create more complex text effects, look no further than the new Character Tab, which makes more advanced text editing tools, such as line and character spacing, easily accessible. Text editing is now as easy as getting the best from your images with PhotoPlus.

Straighten Tool

Have you ever taken a photo only to realise too late that it’s not quite straight? Are you a dab hand at making water and horizons look sloped when you’re in control of the camera? Now you can take wonky photos without worry.

The great new Straighten Tool allows you to draw a line along a horizontal or vertical plane on the image and PhotoPlus 11 Studio Pack uses it as a reference from which to automatically rotate and straighten the image. Just remember though, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is called the ‘Leaning Tower’ for a reason!

Creative Tools

PhotoPlus 11 introduces a great range of powerful new tools. The Pencil tool allows for hard-edged brush work and sub-pixel level editing, enabling users to design in much greater detail, which is perfect for creating small artwork, such as website buttons and icons.

The Paintbrush tool now supports antialiasing, to help you achieve smoother edges for a more natural look. The Flood Fill tool and Colour Selection tools also support antialiasing for smoothing transitions and a more realistic finish.

Filter Effects Gallery

The improved Filter Gallery now has undo/redo functionality and remembers the last used Effect for improving your workflow speed. The Effects Gallery has a wide range of eye-catching Effects that can add an exciting slant to your everyday images.

New and improved Filter Effects are available too, such as the Paper Cutouts Filter that enables you to achieve Matisse-style multicolour collage effects with your photos. The Add Noise Filter now supports Gaussian Blur and the Emboss Filter has been improved too, so now there are even more options for adding stunning effects to your images.

Photographic Effects

You’ll be amazed how quick and easy it is to create stunning photos that look like they were taken by a professional photographer. Now if your image displays a number of different colours slightly offset from one another, you can simply apply the new Chromatic Aberration Filter to bring the colours into line and sharpen up your image.

For shadowing caused by the hood of the lens use Lens Vignetting to remove darkened edges. Plus, the Lens Filter can alter the mood of your photo completely. If the object of your image, such as a building, looks curved try the Lens Distortion Filter. And if you want to focus attention on a particular object in the foreground use Depth of Field Blur to highlight the subject by slightly blurring the background.
