A powerful new feature, Filter Layers offer a non-destructive and editable way to add PhotoPlus X2's effects to your images. Filter Layers also allow you to modify settings at any time or add to a set of effects at a later date. Whether applied to Background or regular layers in your image, the layer itself remains unaffected.

For seasoned digital photographers, PhotoPlus will directly open the popular unprocessed RAW file format from digital camera manufacturers such as Canon, Olympus and Nikon – over 150 digital cameras are supported, including a range of up-to-the-minute models.

Batch Image Resizing

Batch Image Resizing

Save time with the powerful Batch Processing feature. Apply one of 200 preset Macros or recorded actions of your own to whole collections of images. Convert to a different format, adjust colour saturation, make a collection sepia-toned and more – and thanks to the new Batch Resize feature it's now also possible to resize images in the same process, great for preparing for Web galleries or photo-sharing sites.

Preset Canvas Sizes

If you're creating a new picture, adopt a preset canvas size selected from Photo, Video, Web, Animation or International/US Paper categories. Alternatively, create your own categories and canvas sizes and save them for future use. Start with a canvas of the right shape and size and you know your results will be spot on.
