Knoll Light Factory 3.0 for Serif PhotoPlus™ is a lighting effects plugin that gives photographers and digital artists the tools to apply a variety of flare, sparkle and glow effects to images.
Designed by Photoshop co-creator John Knoll, also an Academy Award winning (for Pirates of the Caribbean 3) Visual FX Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic, Light Factory’s presets have been used to create effects in a variety of movies and TV shows including Planet of the Apes, The Day after Tomorrow and Dreamgirls. The software was first used to generate Photon Torpedos in Star Trek: First Contact (1996).
Containing over 100 light presets the software allows for the construction of natural light by combining 17 elements that occur in real life when photographing lights and bright objects. Paint with lighting effects to complete a very realistic nature scene or be used as creatively as your imagination will allow!
